Fanatec Eifel Trophy - IRACING RULES AND TERMS & CONDITIONS

The protection of the dignity of the individual involved in Sim Racing is a fundamental construct of this series. The specific rules for the behavior of drivers and teams (and their associates) are as follows:

1. Participation Rules
   1. Drivers must be at least 16 years old.
   2. Drivers must register during the Time Attack window for their time to count. Late entries will be void.
   3. You must use your real first and last name on your SimGrid account.
   4. You must use your real first and last name on the Fanatec Discord Server.
2.   Hardware Requirements 
   1.  Drivers must do all that they can to have a stable internet connection; 
   2. Drivers with ping above 250 ms and/or rubber banding will be monitored; 
   3. Drivers who persistently have issues with their internet connection pose a risk to others and could potentially be asked to retire and leave the server. 
   4.  Wi-FI, mobile hotspot and VPN connections are common causes of unstable connection. Please avoid using these types of connections wherever possible. 
   5.  You must own a computer that meets the minimum game requirements. 
   6.  You must race using either; 
      1.   Wheel and Pedals 
      2.  Gamepad (controller)
3.   Software Requirements
   1. To be allowed to join this competition, you must own;
      1.  An active iRacing subscription (PC only)
   2.  Downloadable Content (DLC) and/or Modified Files (Mods)
      1.  On iRacing, the Fanatec Eifel Trophy will use the following paid content that you must own;
         1. Porsche Cup - For use at all rounds of the series 
         2. Nürburgring Norschleife Combined - For all rounds of the series
      2. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that they own the content required to participate in the series.
      3. Any content that the user does not own, will need to be purchased at the users own expense.
4.   Telemetry & replays 
   1. It is mandatory that drivers record telemetry and replays on all laps set in official sessions of the Fanatec Eifel Trophy;
      1.  Official sessions refers to the; 
         1. Hotlap Qualifiers; 
         2.  All sessions of the Knockout Phase
         3.  All sessions of the Grand Finals 
   2. Failure to record and provide telemetry and/or replays if requested by the Series Organizer will result in a penalty/disqualification
   3. Instructions on how to provide the telemetry and/or replays will be given in the event that the Organizer requests this information. 
5.  Streaming Guidelines
